Indication
Furosemide Injection is an effective diuretic-saluretic for use in the treatment of acute noninflammatory tissue edema in dogs and horses, and for use in the treatment of edema (pulmonary congestion, ascites) associated with cardiac insufficiency in the dog. In cases of edema involving cardiac insufficiency, the continued use of heart stimulants such as digitalis or its glycosides is indicated.

Dosage and Administration
For intravenous or intramuscular injection
One dose, horses, cattle, sheep and swine: 1ml-2ml per 100kg body weight
Cats and dogs: 0.2ml-1ml per 10kg body weight

Side Effects
1.Can induce electrolyte balance disorders such as low sodium, low potassium, hypocalcemia and low blood magnesium. In addition, azotemia is prone to occur in dehydrated animals.
2.Large doses of intravenous injection may cause hearing loss in dogs.
3.Can also cause gastrointestinal dysfunction, anemia, leukopenia and weakness and other symptoms.

Contraindications
1.No urine animals should be prohibited, electrolyte disorders or liver damage animals should be used with caution.
2.Long-term heavy drug use can cause hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesia and dehydration, which should be combined with potassium supplementation or potassium-preserving diuretic drugs or alternately used, and regularly detect water and electrolyte balance.
3.The combination with aminoglycoside antibiotics and glucocorticoids should be avoided.
