Indication
Albendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic belonging to the group of benzimidazoles. It is effective against different worm infection in cattle, sheep goats, horses and camels. It is also effective against larvae and adult stages of liver flukes. Actively in cattle, goats and sheep. Gastrointesfinal nomatodes: Larval and adult stages of Haemonchus, Ostertagla, tichostrongylus nematodlrus, coopetia Bunostomum, adult stages of oesophagostomum, Chabertia Trichostrongylus and strongyloides.
Dosage and Administration
For oral administration:
Goats and sheep: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
Liver-fluke: 1 ml per 12 kg body weight.
Calves and cattle: 1 ml per 12 kg body weight.
Liver-fluke: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Shake well before use.
Precaution
Since animal tests have shown that albendazole has embryotoxic and teratogenic effects, cattle and sheep are banned within 30 days of gestation within 45 days of gestation. Other animals should not use this product during pregnancy.
Withdrawal Time
Meat: 12 days
Milk: 4 days
