Composition
Each 100 ml contains:

Doramectin……3.5 g

Oily vehicle……qsp100 ml

Note: The formula contains vegetable oil, co-solvent, antioxidants, antibacterials and stabilizer.


Indications
Doramectin Injection is a sterile solution containing doramectin, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication. It is intended for subcutaneous administration to cattle and swine. Doramectin belongs to the avermectin class of compounds, which are highly effective against a wide range of internal and external parasites.


Administration and Dosage
Route of administration: subcutaneous injection (recommended neck or shoulder).

Cattle and sheep: 0.2 mg/kg (i.e. 1 mL/50 kg body weight).

Pigs: 0.3 mg/kg (adjust according to product instructions).

Usually a single dose, the protection period is 28-35 days; when the risk of repeated infection is high, it can be injected once every 4-6 weeks.


Precautions
Animals allergic to macrolide drugs.

Animals with severe hepatic insufficiency.

Forbidden to be used in horses (may cause neurotoxicity).

Operation precautions

Strictly aseptic operation to avoid infection at the injection site.

Oily carriers may cause local swelling and require deep injection.

Special animal groups

Pregnant animals: Some products indicate that they can be used during pregnancy, but caution is required.

Lactating cows: Generally prohibited (the drug may be secreted into milk).


Side Effects
Common reactions

Temporary swelling, pain or nodules at the injection site.

Rare reactions

Allergic reactions (itching, urticaria, dyspnea).
