Composition

Indication
For the treatment of hypocalcaemia complicated by deficiency of magnesium with accompanying hypoglycaemia in sheep. And treatment of pregnancy, toxaemia and other metabolic imbalances in periparturient sheep.

Administration and Dosage
For Intravenous injection:
A single dose, per 10kg body weight, livestock 1.7~3.3ml. Use it once or twice a day for 2-3 days.

Adverse Reaction
1.Sulfadiazine or its metabolites can precipitate in the urine, which is more likely to crystallize during high dose administration or long term administration at low dose, resulting in crystalline urine, hematuria, or blockage of renal tubules.
2.Horse intravenous injection can cause temporary paralysis.
3.Acute poisoning. Often occurs when intravenous injection is too fast or too high a dose. The main manifestations are nervous excitation, ataxia, myasthenia, vomiting, coma, anorexia and diarrhea. Cattle, goats can also see visual impairment, mydriasis.

Precaution

1.This product can be crystallized in case of acid, so it should not be diluted with 5% glucose solution.
2.It’s easy to crystallize in the urinary tract, animals should be given plenty of water. And a large dose, long-term use should be given the same amount of sodium bicarbonate.
3.When renal function is impaired, excretion is slow, should be used with caution.
4.Pay attention to cross-allergic reactions. If animals have allergic reactions, stop the medicine immediately and give symptomatic treatment.
