Composition

Each 100 mL contains:

Ivermectin…….1.0 g 

Oily vehicle…...qsp100 ml 

Note: The formula contains vegetable oil, co-solvent, antioxidants, antibacterials and stabilizer.


Indications

Applicable animals

Cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs (non-collie dogs), horses (use with caution)

Scope of prevention and control:

1. Internal nematodes

Cattle/sheep: Haemonchus, Ostermouth, Lungworm, Oesophagostomum, Trichocephalus, etc.

Pigs: Ascaris, red hog nematodes, Metastrongylus, intestinal Trichinella spiralis (ineffective intramuscularly)

2. External arthropods

Mites (scabies, itch mites), lice, ticks, fly maggots (such as cow hide fly maggots, sheep nose fly maggots)

3. Special uses

Prevent growth retardation and reduced fur quality caused by parasitic infections


Administration and Dosage

Route of administration: Subcutaneous injection only (intramuscular or intravenous injection is prohibited)

Cattle/sheep: 0.02 mL/kg (equivalent to 0.2 mg/kg)

Pigs: 0.03 mL/kg (equivalent to 0.3 mg/kg)

Dogs: 0.03-0.04 mL/kg (Collie dogs must be strictly avoided)

Injection operation:

No more than 10 mL per injection point, inject at multiple points to avoid local swelling

Warm to room temperature before injection, avoid using alcohol to disinfect the needle (may crystallize)


Precautions

Contraindications

Lactating cattle/sheep (drugs can remain in milk)

Collie, aquatic animals (highly toxic)

Operation safety

Highly toxic to aquatic organisms, no contamination of water or feed

Wash hands thoroughly after injection, avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes

Special groups

Pregnant animals: Some brands are marked as usable, but caution is recommended

Malnourished or sick animals: need to reduce the dose or monitor


Side Effects

Common reactions

Transient swelling, pain or nodules at the injection site (vegetable oil carrier can reduce irritation)

Rare reactions

Allergic reaction (itching, urticaria)

High-dose poisoning: ataxia, respiratory depression (need to use atropine for detoxification)

Special risks for cattle

Death of cow fly larvae may cause local inflammation (such as parasitism near the spine)


Withdrawal Times

Cattle/Sheep: 35 days before slaughter, 20 days during weaning period

Pig: 28 days before slaughter

Dog/Horse: No clear data, it is recommended to stop the drug for at least 14 days
