Composition
Each 100 mL contains:
Doramectin……1.0 g
Oily vehicle……qsp.100 ml
Note: The formula contains vegetable oil, co-solvent, antioxidants, antibacterials and stabilizer.
Indications
Scope of prevention and treatment:
1. Internal parasites:
Cattle: gastrointestinal nematodes (such as Osborne nematodes, Haemonchus nematodes), lung nematodes, eye filaria, kidney worms, etc.
Pigs: gastrointestinal nematodes, lung nematodes, kidney worms
2. External parasites:
Mites (scabies, itch mites), lice, ticks, cowhide fly maggots, spiral worms, etc.
3. Special uses: It has inhibitory and killing effects on adults, larvae and eggs of parasites
Administration and Dosage
Route of administration: Intramuscular injection (intravenous or subcutaneous injection is prohibited)
Cattle/sheep: 1 mL/50 kg body weight (i.e. 200 μg/kg)
Pig: 1 mL/33 kg body weight (i.e. 300 μg/kg)
Injection operation:
Shake the solution well before injection to avoid local tissue irritation
The injection site can be the neck or shoulder muscle. When injecting at each point, no more than 10 mL
Precautions
Contraindications
Lactating cows (the drug may remain in the milk)
Collie dogs (some products are marked as prohibited)
Operation safety
Avoid direct sunlight on the solution (sunlight will accelerate decomposition)
The residual solution is highly toxic to fish and aquatic organisms, and it is prohibited to pollute water sources
Special groups
Pregnant animals: Some products indicate that it can be used, but caution is required
Malnourished or sick animals: It is recommended to reduce the dosage and monitor
Side Effects
Common reactions
Temporary swelling or pain at the injection site (vegetable oil carrier can reduce irritation)
Rare reactions
Allergic reactions (itching, urticaria, difficulty breathing)
High doses may cause neurological symptoms (tremor, ataxia)
Withdrawal Times
Cattle: 35 days before slaughter, dairy products are prohibited
Pigs: 28 days before slaughter
Sheep: Some products are marked 40 days before slaughter (please refer to the instructions)
Storage
Keep away from light and sealed, the temperature should not exceed 30℃
Avoid freezing or high temperature environment
