Composition

Description
Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic that belongs to the benzimidazole derivatives. It is extremely active against most nematodes and some tapeworms,
including tape worms and adult liver flukes.

Indications
Infestation with helminths susceptible to albendazole in sheep, goats and cattle. Albendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic effective in the removal and
control of the following internal parasites: Adult Liver Flukes, Heads and Segments of Tapeworms (Moniezia); Adult and 4th Stage Larvae of intestinal Worm
(Cooperia spp.), Hook Worm (Bunostomum spp.), Bankrupt Worm (Trichostrongylus spp.), Nodular Worm (Oesophagostomum) Adult and 4th Stage inhibited
Larvae of Ostertagia, Barberpole Worm Trichostongylus); Adult and 4th Stage Larvae of Lung Worms (Dictyocaulus).

Administration and Dosage
For oral administration:
Sheep and Goats: 6 ml per 30 kg body weight.
Liver-fluke: 15ml per 50kg body weight.
Cattle: 30 ml per 100 kg body weight.
Liver-fluke: 40ml per 100 kg body weight.

Precaution
1-Do not overdose.
2-Do not treat animals during first month of pregnancy.

Side Effect
Albendazole is tolerated without significant adverse effects when administered at recommended dose.
Salivation, diarrhea, and rarely foaming of the muzzle may be observed in sheep, but will disappear within few hours.

Contraindications
Do not use in the presence of documented hypersensitivity to the pharmacologically active ingredient or to any of the other ingredients.
Do not use in animals with central nervous system-associated seizure disorders.
Do not use in the presence of existing disorders of cartilage development or musculoskeletal damage around functionally significant or weight-bearing joints.
Do not use for prophylaxis.

Withdrawal Time
Meat: 14 days.
Milk: 4 days.

Storage and Expired Time
Store in a dry and dark place below 30℃.
