lndications

As glucocorticoid drug. It has effect on anti-inflammatory; anti-allergic and glucose metabolism. It is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory; allergic diseases; bovine ketosis and sheep pregnancy toxemia.

Administration and Dosage

By intravenous or intramuscular administration:

Daily dosage, cattle: 2.5~10 ml; sheep, swine: 2~6 ml

Side Effects and Contraindications

lt has strong water-sodium retention and potassium excretion effect.

lt has strong immunosuppressive effect.

Large doses during late pregnancy can cause miscarriage.

Precautions

Do not use in animals with severe liver dysfunction, osteomalacia, fracture treatment period, wound repair period, vaccination period.

Strict control of the role and use to prevent abuse.

For bacterial infections should be combined with antibacterial.

Long-term medication cannot be stopped suddenly, it should be gradually reduced until the drug is discontinued.

Withdrawal Time

For meat: 21 days.

For milk: 72 hours
